Hi, I'm Jaime.
I make quiet software
for loud problems.
jaime solís · new fairfield, ctI design and build digital products: dashboards, platforms, e-commerce systems. From legacy modernization to greenfield builds, I take projects from idea to production.
I founded and ran a web hosting and development company in Chile for seven years, serving clients across e-commerce, corporate, and community sites. That experience taught me every layer of the stack, from server administration to client communication, and it shapes how I scope and ship today.
Now I work from Connecticut as an independent practice. Most of my engagements are Shopify: Liquid theme work and ongoing retainers, headless builds on Hydrogen + Oxygen where a store genuinely needs one, plus dashboards and integration work where things have to round-trip cleanly between systems.
Solo operator with modern tooling. AI-assisted workflows (Claude Code, automation) let me ship at agency speed without agency overhead. The code is mine. The outcome is yours.
Existing system, traffic, what is actually broken vs. what feels broken. Fixed-fee, one-week scope.
Fixed-price proposal, week-by-week milestones, no surprise invoices. Decline if we are not a fit.
Async by default. Loom walkthroughs every Friday. Slack or email for blockers. Preview deploy on every push.
Soft launch, monitoring window, handover docs your team can read. Two weeks post-launch on me.
- 01Keep it fast. Users should not wait.
- 02Build it clean. Code should read like a story.
- 03Measure results. Data beats opinions.
- 04Own your tools. Know every layer of your stack.
- 05Humor helps. A touch of humanity makes tech more fun.
